Based out of San Francisco, California, Genevieve Primavera, LLC is the creation of Mary-Elizabeth Primavera, a widely acclaimed artist and couturier. By training a graphic design artist and by long experience a designer, Primavera merges her knowledge of art and fabric to create unique collections. Genevieve Primavera’s products are made with quality fabrics, mostly of natural fibers, and produced wholly in the United States.

Primavera believes that women today want more out of clothes than just meets the eye. “We are on the cusp of a new era in fashion. I think people are becoming more aware and concerned with the environment and the importance of upholding our local economies. Women are seeking out labels that are natural, organic, and domestic” says Primavera. “I intend to remain a part of that movement and hold firm to those values. It is possible to wear clothes that are made of natural and organic textiles, that don’t just look like a bowl of hemp cereal.”

Primavera’s work reflects her deep artistic background, her long experience with fabric, as well as her own personal struggles to overcome. Her collections evoke an artistic synergy of architecturally structured yet romantically inspired creations.
